The Treasurer's Report was moved and passed as submitted
Discussion or current number of members. Kl repeort 88 members
and the club reported 55. Reid talked with Kiwanis International
and they have not brought the new club online the monthly reporting
member information up-to-date as yet.
It was stated that at the time Kiwanis International is approved
as a 501 (c) 3 organization, the Foundation can be folded and
the funds donated to the Rose Float Club as we don't need two
501 (c) 3's.
It was moved and passed to send $1.000 to the Phoenix Corporation.
Banner patches were received for the Bay Area Holiday Food Drive
and for The Hope for Kids Duck Race donation of $250.
Holiday Candle fundraising information was handed out.
It
was reiterated that there must be a digger Opportunity Drawing
sales push at clubs and DCM's.
There
was discussion on how much is still owed to Phoenix Corporation
for the 2007 float It is believed from the known information that
the results from the various fundraising activities including
the donations from Kiwanis International is on track.
The
next Rose Float Club meeting is on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at
10:00 a.m. at the University Club in Pasadena. The address is
175 N. Oakland Ave. (Corner of Oakland and Walnut).
